Abstract of predefined Load-Combinations

Note: All Combinations were prepared according to the latest version of Russian standard for bridges  SNiP 2.05.03-84*, Moscow 2011. For that purpose was mostly used Part 6 for explanations of Typical Loads, Security and Dynamic coefficients. Also the Appendix "D" for combination Factors of Live Loads and Other Loads and for the most common combinations.

The original Combination Table from appendix "D" was modified because of the repeating the same factors in some combinations and therefore producing the same effects on construction. Also some combinations are excluded, and those are combinations having for the leading Load some of the Loads which are excluded too.

This excluded Loads can be added by the user later in Combination Table.

Also all unnecessary Loads can be deleted and they will not be considered in Combination table.

At the very beginning the user can choose appropriate Combination Table related to the type of Bridge in existing Project, and there are two existing Combination tables: 

  1. For Highway and City Road Bridges
  2. For Railway and Metro Bridges

For the first group of bridges the user will be also able to append in Schedule Actions already prepared Live Load Superposition in Stage with wished name.

All default Load names in Table fields can be changed according to user needs.

Note: Given ULS Combinations are most common an have been chosen from the original table in Appendix "D". There is possibility to add more combinations according to users needs.

Maximum number of  combinations ( SLS + ULS ) which can be entered in the program is 48.
